高云，女，香港中文大学博士，二岗教授、3044永利官网入口沙湖学者，博士生导师，曼彻斯特城市大学客座教授，现任3044永利官网公司副经理。曾任材料公司副经理，湖北省电镜学会理事，教育部功能材料绿色制备与应用重点实验室副主任。主要研究内容包括光催化有机物及气体降解、光分解水制氢、气体传感器、光电探测、光伏器件等半导体材料应用领域。主持国家自然科学基金项目5项、教育部博士点基金（博导）、教育部科学技术研究重点项目、湖北省科技厅群体项目、重点项目及横向委托科研开发项目10余项。获得授权中国发明专利10余项，在国际公认的SCI学术期刊发表学术论文100多篇，2006年获得湖北省自然科学三等奖1项。

Ms Gao Yun obtained her Ph. D at Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003 and is now a Professor (level II) in the Hubei University as the prestigious Shahu Scholar, and the visiting professor of Manchester Metropolitan University within Material Science and Engineering. She is currently the Vice Dean of Manchester Metropolitan Joint Institute, Hubei University. Her main research activities include photocatalytic organic and gas degradation, water splitting for hydrogen generation, gas sensors, photo-electronic detection, photovoltaic devices and other semiconductor related applications. Professor Gao have had over 5 million RMB funding from more than 10 research projects sponsored by various funding bodies including National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, and the Hubei Science and Technology Department. She has published more than 100 academic papers in SCI journals with the other-citation more than 1000. More than 10 patents from her inventions have been granted by National Intellectual Property Administration, and she won the third prize of natural science of Hubei Province in 2006.
